Website and operations portals for a Velana International Airport handling company. Private-jet operators submit trip requests and accept itemised quotes online, while hotels and travel agencies manage guest arrivals and transfers in a dedicated partner portal.
Overview
MACS (Maldives Airports Concierge Services), a business of Follow Me To Maldives Pvt Ltd, provides business-jet ground handling and airport guest handling at Velana International Airport (VRMM/MLE). The platform is made up of a public marketing site and two installable web portals: one for aircraft operators and one for hospitality partners. Requests from both portals are mirrored to the 24/7 ops desk by email and WhatsApp.
Key Features
- Jet handling portal: Operators register for free, then submit trip requests covering aircraft, ETA/ETD, passengers, crew and required services. They receive itemised quotes valid for 72 hours, accept them online and track each request through its stages.
- Guest-handling partner portal: Hotels, guesthouses and agencies enter or upload guest movements, match flights automatically and track guests through meet-and-greet and speedboat, seaplane or domestic transfers.
- Quick handling request: A short enquiry form lets first-time operators send a request without registering.
- Service catalogue & airport guide: Content pages cover permits and slots, ramp services, fuel coordination, CIQ fast track, crew logistics and a VRMM airport guide.
Technical Highlights
- The public site is built with Next.js and prerendered for SEO, with a dynamically generated Open Graph image.
- The two portals are React single-page apps built with Vite and React Router. They are installable PWAs with service workers and iOS standalone-mode handling.
- The portals authenticate against a cookie-based API using the Laravel Sanctum CSRF pattern.
- The site and portals are served behind Cloudflare.
